    1. You do know that Zach Levi is a devout Christian, right? You know, the star of your favorite show? And yet you like to give people shit for being religious? How is that ok?

    2. Not that I'm saying "The Bible" wasn't a stupid representation of the word, but just because people are religious doesn't mean their stupid, in fact, the vast majority of the world's population are religious, only about a 7% of the world's population are atheist/agnostic, so to call out religious people being stupid is to call out more then 6 billion people stupid, not every Christian is a homophobic biggot, and there are plenty of Liberal Christians too who support gay marriage (like Barrack Obama, Bill Clinton, Alec Baldwin, etc.) so quit singling out all relgious people of being homophobic biggots, their are just as many good religious people are their are bad, same with atheism and agnosticism. Also, George Lucas created the concent of the force because he's a methodist, and he still is to this day.

    3. I don't think having faith makes you stupid. I think using your faith as a way to force other people to live a certain way is stupid.

And I don't care about the religious masses. I only care about the assholes who use religion to create bigoted laws.

    4. Also, I don't know what Zac's religion has anything to do with my views on religion. He can believe whatever he likes. I've never heard him say anything about preventing gay people from getting married and the like.

    5. Well, I didn't mean to sound like a dick, I just hate it when people like to single out an entire minority for something just because they disagree with it, I have friends of all different beliefs some who are religious, and others who aren't, some who are gay, and some who are straight, and I love them all just the same, but it does bother me when people feel like they have to single someone out over something they don't agree with, I mean that what Hitler did with the Holocaust. I just wish people wouldn't let politics dominate some much of their lifes (and that goes for the relgious side politics as well) I just wish we could all get along and find a happy medium of which everyone could live by while still having their own personal beliefs and/or values, but that's unfortunately not possible since everyone handles their feelings differently, big reason why I try to stay out of politics for the most part, just pisses people off. And their are plenty of atheists who want to get rid of peoples freedom of religion, wouldn't that make them just as biggoted as anyone else? Just a thought. Once again, I'm sorry if I came off as crass, I just feel like sometimes you need to speak out for something if you feel like no one else will, especially since I bet no one else on this site was gonna say anything.

    6. Christians are not a minority.

Name one atheist in American politics who is trying to take away people's rights. Name one lawmaker who is an atheist who is keeping any minority from having the same rights as the majority.

      You can't.

So you are engaging in a straw man argument.

The problem here is that the MAJORITY is trying to step on the minority and using god as their justification.

You can believe whatever you want, just don't use your fantasy world to oppress others. Doing so is what I call "stupid". And I mock religion whenever someone uses it as a way to argue why a human being doesn't deserve the same rights as another human being.

    7. Even still, as I said before, just because you believe something (or don't believe something for that matter) doesn't make you stupid. There are assholes of all beliefs, assholes who are Christians, assholes who are Muslim, assholes who are Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostic, you name it, believing or not believing something doesn't immediately make you stupid, for the record, and also for the record I do support gay marriage because I don't think it's my business to force my beliefs on someone else, all I'm saying is, contrary to what someone like Richard Dawkins would say, it doesn't what you believe or don't believe, that doesn't define you, it's how you make it represent your actions towards others that defines you, and like I said before, plenty of Christians support gay marriage (Stephen Colbert, my favorite comedian, is both a Roman Catholic and a far right wing liberal)

    8. It makes no difference whether I think it is stupid or not. I am not trying to stop you from believing anything as long as you don't use those beliefs to take away rights from another human being.

Your actions define you. Not what is inside your head.

  2. I also forgot to clarify that smoking weed isn't necessarily stupid. But the people that do abuse it and do stupid things. I really pity people that screw themselves over for the rest of their lives because of stupid things they do now.

    1. It's alright. I was just using it as a funny way out.

I don't smoke weed. Or do any drug.

    2. I just didn't want to make it seem like I am like a housewife who has nothing better to do than condemn this I don't understand or quite see eye to eye on.

  3. Thanks for caving to Jess and discussing "Vikings". I also liked it despite its lack of authentic Scandinavian actors and possible inaccuracies regarding seafaring navigation. The 5 minutes of "The Bible" I did watch were awful, and yes very white. Plus the fact that the archangels looked like extras from "Stargate" kind of weirded me out. Oh and the new format is cool, looking forward to more!

    1. The format will likely change a tad with the next episode. I'm thinking of adding more music. And eventually it may be even more music than that.

    2. "The Bible" is god awful. No pun intended. Okay. Maybe a little intended.

  4. Like the format. I hope you may find time to talk about the buzz started by Zac Levi for a kickstarter Chuck movie.

(not that I want to sound demanding)

    1. If I remember to talk about it whenever we record another podcast... we will definitely cover it.

  5. Great. I always enjoy your perspective on such things. There aren't many action Chuck discussion forums left, but the few I've scanned for reactions seem to have people who thing (1)it will happen soon and (2)the plot will be exactly like the one they have in their head. There's even one soul who wants to petition that it is "fan-written".

  6. As a swede I loved the vikings part, it's great and really funny when you talk about your Scandinavian origin! And I just love to hear your voice! (not a girl sorry, and no homo)
