So... I wrote a book. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time doing it. And it is NOW available! What's it about?

IT HAS BEEN A CENTURY SINCE DISPLACED ICELANDERS TRICKED MARS SETTLERS INTO HANDING THEM CONTROL OVER THE PLANET, RENAMING IT ÝDALIR. BUT NOW, THE ÝDALIR HAVE A DEPLETED MILITIA OF SPACE-VIKINGS ROAMING AROUND THE SOLAR SYSTEM, ATTEMPTING TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OVER SHIPPING LANES AND MINING OPERATIONS. MEANWHILE, EARTH IS BOOMING, ITS PEOPLE LIVING THE SAFEST LIVES, NO LONGER GROWING OLD OR SUFFERING DISEASES, FOCUSED ON ENTERTAINMENT, THEIR MAIN CULT-OF-PERSONALITY A MAN THEY CALL TOMMY RAVEN. BUT WHEN HE ENDS UP MISSING, THE ENTIRE SYSTEM GOES INTO A PANIC.

MILLIONS OF MILES AWAY, HIS OLDEST FRIEND AND ONCE LOVER, ALEINA, WAITS WITH DREAD IN HER HEART AND A QUESTION SHE HAS LIVED WITH FOR TEN-YEARS: “HOW WAS I SO EASY TO DISCARD?” SHE DOES NOT KNOW IT, BUT THE ANSWER IS RACING TOWARD HER, AND WITH IT FOLLOWS DEATH.

Buy the AMAZON EBOOK or AMAZON PAPERBACK or B&N HARDCOVER now! Or you can even read it for free on Amazon if you have Kindle Unlimited.

You can also read the novel for FREE here, on this blog, (parts slowly being uploaded), though it won't be as convenient... but hopefully you'll enjoy it enough--if you don't choose to buy it--to eventually get the pay version. Either way, reviews would be greatly appreciated on Goodreads and/or Amazon. They are better than money!

There Will Be No "Director's Cut" of "The Rise of Skywalker"

Despite what you may have heard from your favorite liars on the Internet, the theatrical cut of "The Rise of Skywalker" is the director's cut. If you want a longer cut because you think it will improve the movie, then ask for an "Extended Cut."

Why Box Office 'Adjusted for Inflation' is Ridiculous

Whenever a modern movie breaks some box office record you’ll inevitably read an industry professional, journalist, or fan comment about how it doesn’t match up to some old movie when “adjusting for inflation.” People seemingly note this to indicate the current movie box office numbers are not as impressive since fewer tickets were sold. What’s troubling about this qualifier is that it completely discounts all other variables that have decreased box office ticket sales.
