  1. "The Americans", was interesting. I didn't grow up in the 80's, so i don't have an opinion on how close looking to the 80's it actually is. Other people say its okay though. I'll be checking out next weeks episode and i'll definitely give it a chance. The FBI agent was in The Truman Show, and he is a good actor. Looking forward to see what he does with the role.

Happy Endings 2 episodes were good. Like you guys, after i see an episode i forget most of it. I don't really follow the story that closely. I mostly watch for the jokes and hijinks. I don't watch New Girl, so i don't have an opinion on "The Kiss". Sorry.

Also, not trying to sound like a jackass, but Brenda Song wasn't in Scott Pilgrim. That was another Asian girl. Just wanted to throw that out.

Finally, since Community is coming back.... #sixseasosnandamovie! ;)

    1. I blame Jess for the racism related to Brenda Song. Clearly. White people...

Also, COMMUNITY died when Dan Harmon left.

    2. I know. But Ive been with Community since the beginning, and I've come this far. So im gonna stick with it. Especially since this might be the last season. And i am going into it expecting it not to be like the first 3 seasons.

Also, Ive seen the first episode of House Of Cards. Its pretty good. Im gonna give the rest a watch at some point. But the point is, i totally get what you mean. If you're someone who burned through all of the episodes in a day, then you're gonna have a long wait. I mean, some people have a hard enough time waiting 4 or 5 months for a show to come back already.

    3. COMMUNITY is just the t-shirt underneath the $5,000 suit without Dan Harmon.

  2. Great Kiss....the very first one on BSG, Chuck and Sarah first kiss, etc. Those had passion (and tongue) and was just lets fucking do this attitude by the actors.

If the actors are not willing to have that attitude than the kiss will suck and here it did kinda suck, sorry Jess but I am with Magnus on this one.

    1. I don't care that much about tongue being used. That doesn't make something a great kiss, necessarily. I just want real passion. I want the actors to forget themselves and become their characters. When actors kiss like two people who know each other in the real world and feel a bit awkward about the kiss but are doing it because they are professionals... it shows.

  3. On Americans, I am with you guys. You mentioned Homeland, but it also makes me think of Heat (which I really liked). In the movie Heat you really rooted for the bad guys and I felt bad about it after. Anyway, one thing I didn't get in Americans was they acted like this was the first time they had made love, but don't they have kids? Aren't they their real kids? And how long can the Americans sustain this storyline? The husband was already to turn to the Americans - I thought maybe it would be a long arc of them slowing turning but its happened emotionally for him already. So where do they go.

On the New Girl kiss, I thought it was 50% hot but not all the way. It totally to me is the tongue situation. Add good tongue and real urgency and it makes it so much hotter - that's what the Chuck/Sarah first kiss had. The Nick/Jess kiss showed a little bit of hesitantly which would be realistic, but also like they are holding back which makes it less hot.

The Office is stupid now. No strains in Pam/Jim relationship until this one - one bump in the road and they add a possible third party? And the argument wasn't even that bad, I would think they would have those on occasion. It wasn't something tragic. Aside from Pam/Jim, I didn't find much to laugh at in the rest of the episode.

    1. I think it is very rare for actors to be willing to use tongue or even open mouth kissing or anything like that. You can tell that they are very uncomfortable and are not willing to do what they got to do...lack of professionalism or something but it does affect the end product sadly.
