CHUCK Vs. the Bullet Train: 5.11 - RuhRoh!

The 89th episode of this fun little show has been unleashed on the masses and it... is... surprisingly good! Woohoo!

I say surprisingly because on paper it didn't sound all that spectacular but it really delivered on all the points that I think make the show worthy of its five seasons and its loyal fans.

So, Chuck's been kidnapped, Sarah's been Intersected, and there is a rescue mission. Quinn, the new chubby baddie, just wants his Intersect glasses, which of course he can't have since Sarah used them. Back at Castle, Ellie and Awesome (FINALLY!) are working on figuring out what made the Intersect go puff puff for koo koo crisps on Morgan.

On the train, Chuck is told his wife and Casey have been killed and their corpses delivered in coffin thingies. Of course, they are not dead and Sarah saves Chuck from captivity. Then, Chuck and Sarah have sex. Granted, we don't see the sexy time, but we know it happened. Then Chuck draws a picture of their happy life. Yes, it sounds lame but it is actually done well.

Meanwhile, Alex gets herself kidnapped and Casey gets blackmailed to turn on Chuck and Sarah. However, the team is able to get a message back to Castle and Morgan and Awesome spring into action, only to be captured. That leaves only two individuals left to save the day. Jeff and Lester.

This whole thing shouldn't work. It really shouldn't. It should come off as cheesy and dumb but instead I found myself laughing, rooting them on, and just generally enjoying the entire thing.

But of course there is a caveat to all this fun. Sarah's Intersect has a ticker and if she flashes one too many times (she tells Chuck she has already flashed FOURTY TIMES!!!) her brain will fry and she could start forgetting things (like Alex, who no one should be surprised she has forgotten since I am surprised she ever knew her name). And as Quinn escapes and then reappears etc etc etc, Sarah gets herself captured and then her memory screwed with to the point where she has forgotten all the important things, like Chuck. And now Quinn has her thinking she is a CIA agent whose mission is to KILL CHUCK!

I love it... though, it really should have been introduced like 8 episodes ago.

QUOTABLES
After Chuck and Sarah have a serious talk about her being Intersected, they share an uncomfortable silence before it is broken.
Chuck: It's the coolest thing in the world, isn't it?!
Sarah: The coolest ever.
Chuck: Did you do any parkour?
Sarah: Off a bridge, onto a moving truck, and then onto a car going in the opposite direction.
Chuck: Awesome!

After Awesome and Morgan are captured trying to save Alex, Lester finds Morgan's earpiece communicator on the ground with a barking John Casey on the other end.
Casey: Morgan!
Lester: [picking up the device] Hellooooo?
Casey: Who the hell is this?
Lester: I might ask you the same question, little earling.
Casey: Lester, Lester Patel?
Lester: [long pause] Mayyybe?

Casey discusses the issue with the team and they decide to give Jeff and Lester the mission.
Casey: This is Colonel John Casey of the National Security Agency.
Lester: That is so funny, there's a John Casey works at the Buy More.
Casey: That's me, you idiot! I'm NSA. Sarah Walker, Chuck Bartowski, they're CIA.
Lester: They are so not!
Casey: They are so so, you colossal dope! Now, I need you. My daughter needs you. And your country needs you.
Lester: [pause] Canada?

Jeff and Lester tap into the communications system of the vehicle where the bad guys are holding Alex, Awesome, and Morgan.
Jeff: [coming through the PA system] We appreciate that you too are armed. But we have heat vision infrared scopes, laser guidance system, and armor piercing bullets. Over!
Morgan: I think this is where we should get down.

If I had to rate this episode, I'd give it:

94 out of 100

Sure, the green screen work in this one was pretty bad at times, and it wasn't a perfect episode, but when compared to the majority of this season, I think this one shines like 5.03 and 5.07. I am also very happy to see it executed so well since what I had heard about it, on paper, sounded pretty bad. That gives me hope for the finale. But 5.11, like the other two I mentioned, make suffering through some episodes that aren't as good more than worth it (minus Baby, which should die!).

What did you think?

  1. This is the episode where it really hit me. It's all over next week! I honestly cannot believe we're living in a world where CHUCK got 5 seasons and a series finale. It certainly doesn't feel like the world we were living in after seeing "Chuck Versus the Colonel" and praying that we got picked up for a third season! Unfortunately, as a result of that pick-up, we all had to bear witness to "Chuck Versus the Muuurder" a year or so later, but still, 5 seasons!!

I adored this episode, but as you and Wendy pointed out in the podcast, horrendous green screen work took my attention away from some of the episode's finest moments of dialogue. And seriously, what the hell was with that wide shot?! I also couldn't understand why the curtain wouldn't have just been pulled down. Tonight's green screen work might have been even worse than the horrendous green screen work in "Chuck Versus the First Fight" when Stephen Bartowski's house blew up. Now THAT was a laughable effort!

  2. Zac said at the Golden Globes people will be on the edge of their seats at the 1st hour with tears and laughing during the 2nd hour. Jeff and Lester to the rescue. who would of thunk it. I think we still have hope for a great ending. Smiles everyone smiles. :)))))

  3. We just finished watching it and I am kind of ... pissed. I am NOT, nor have I EVER been, I swear to the LORD above, a crazy shipper. But I hate, hate hate amnesia storylines. It's the soapiest and cheapest trick in the book to stir up melodrama. And when that guy kept showing Sarah those cards at the end, WHY DID SHE NOT JUST CLOSE HER EYES!? HELLO, stupidest thing ever, it completely took away from any of the drama of that scene. They didn't even bother to force her eyes open Clockwork Orange style (or even like I think they've done in an earlier episode of CHUCK itself)!!

"I adored this episode, but as you and Wendy pointed out in the podcast, horrendous green screen work took my attention away from some of the episode's finest moments of dialogue."

SO. MUCH. Well, the green screen part I mean.

"Granted, we don't see the sexy time, but we know it happened. Then Chuck draws a picture of their happy life. Yes, it sounds lame but it is actually done well."

Uggh I dunno ... I wasn't into it. It came off cheesy on screen to me and my husband totally groaned during that scene with the picture-drawing, which probably added to my feeling of being annoyed by it hahaha.

Who was it last week that posted a comment predicting that Chuck would have to take Sarah back to that stupid house and show Sarah the dumb "Chuck + Sarah" thing carved into the doorframe thing, and then she'd remember everything? When I read that comment I thought, "There's no way the writers would be that stupid." And now I realize ... there is TOTALLY a HUGE chance they will be that lame!!

The thing is, I know that part of the reason they are doing this storyline is for the "let's go back and remember the last 5 seasons of Chuck along with Sarah who now has to re-live it!!" thing ... which is just ... aggh. Gimmicky. And unfortunately just feels tacked on randomly to create some level of drama for the finale. They really better not EFF this up next week, but my confidence is suddenly very shaky.

    2. This episode was one of the best this season, super exciting from the first minute till the end... and it still managed to have plenty of humor in it. The only thing I kinda found annoying is how Casey failed to take down Quinn when he had the chance.. Alex was safe at that point but Casey just stood there and let him take a hostage. That scene didn't really work for me.

I'm not generally fan of amnesia story lines either but maybe this will prove out to be a good one. In the end it will depend on the resolution, as long as Sarah gets her memories back all is well.

If not, I'll be forever wondering what made Fedak think erasing 5 seasons of character development would be a good idea... and trying to erase the show from my memory (pls get me a pair of intersect glasses).

GAHH!! O.k. look, I mean there are ways they could play this out that would be interesting/fun enough that could make me forgive it in the end. BUT ... I'm not confident at this moment that this will be the case. We'll see ... (ggrrrr) ...

  4. Oh, the comment from "Anonymous" above me reminded me of one thing I did like in this episode: Jeff and Lester. THAT part was hilarious, with the cigar and armor and flamethrower thing. Finally, after all these years, these guys get to be knowingly involved in the spy storyline.

  5. Since Chuck is a show that revolves heavily around a certain brain reprogramming technology, plots involving memory loss are much more plausible than in other shows that have to rely on convenient concussions or other plot devices.

  6. Maybe the buy more will get the intersect and everyone will forget 5 seasons. Just kidding. Great episode.

  7. Maybe the buy more will start selling INTERSECT GLASSES , only $25.99 comes with 30 flashes , then you are FUCKED . Purchase at your own risk . lol

  8. The green screen thing doesn't bother me that much because i know the show didn't have the budget anymore to do that better.

    I just accept those things.

I liked the episode Jeff & Lester and Morgan & Awesome were really good.

It was nice to see Sarah's old apartment again.

I thought Casey's difficult decision would have been something different because he already did the same thing in Tic Tac.

That's the only thing i didn't care about in the episode is them using Alex being in peril again.

I was prepared for the amnesia storyline and it's not great but not terrible.

  9. I do wonder if the only reason they (sort of) showed sexytimes, is so they can have Sarah knocked up at the end of the finale. That or mass transportation just gets them really hot.

  10. "This whole thing shouldn't work. It really shouldn't. It should come off as cheesy and dumb but instead I found myself laughing, rooting them on, and just generally enjoying the entire thing."

Could not agree more! Looking at it from afar, none of that should have worked, but for some strange reason it did! I think it's because the stakes were really high in the other storyline, so the somewhat forced comedy felt less forced because it was so welcome.

REALLY loved how they got the entire cast involved in this episode (aside from Big Mike, that is). As much as I disliked Morgan as the Intersect, they've done great things with that story after the fact.

  11. Sarah and her old apartment are the show's sexiest meowmance.

    1. Biggest travesty :

Shaw got more action in that apartment than Chuck did lol

    2. Man there was so much hotness in that apartment/hotel .

It's a shame they thought they'd get cancelled after S3 and had them move in together . Could you imagine how much sexyness Chuck and Sarah could have had if they kept their relationship on the down low from Beckmann and the CIA ? Sneaky sexy time = HAWT !!!

      Delete
    3. That's actually one of my disapointments with the show, that they didn't have Chuck/Sarah keeping their relationship secret from Beckman for a long time. The sneaking around would have been HOT.

I haven't see the episode yet, but all signs point to me enjoying it.

The picture with the two of them with the baby and the house with the white picket fence will snap her out of it. Guaranteed. Or she'll have a Fifty firsts dates episode and have to watch Jeff's montage forever. Fedak ?

Well sexy time finished in 5.04 or actually 2.21. I cannot believe fans have waited 3 years and 57 episodes for a colonel type scene that was never going to happen. I do wonder what happened, considering.

    1. What happened in this episode? They had sex.

And 2.21 wasn't the last time they had sexy time. That was just the hottest make-out session.

  15. Sorry let me re-phrase, I wonder what happened since 2.21 that there was never such a hot make out session, considering they can now do that freely. I guess this is a family show.

    1. We've seen hotness between other characters on the show. It just seemed they took the hot scenes away from Chuck and Sarah.

Did you say that there is one bed scene this season that was in an episode? Is that episode already aired and they cut it? Or is it in an upcoming episode?

They had some moments....tooth, anniversary, suitcase, gobbler, etc. But fedak is an evil genius, lol.....considering that you said that hotter stuff has been shot and cut.

    5. Fedak said at wonder con 2010 that he reads like everything online...and he said yes anonymous it does hurt me your criticism, lol. With all the bitching and moaning and threats and abuse that fedak and his writers get I would not be totally surprised if he built up a minor siege mentality. If people abused me like that I would not like it. I am not saying that happened or he is in fact fucking with fans but people should be treated with a certain level of respect. Online fans can be assholes.

  16. I enjoyed this episode even though I dislike the overall amnesia story line. Also the thing with Sarah not closing her eyes at the end did not annoy me as much as Chuck not trying to override the door or the de-coupling thing. I mean he was going to fix the mobile internet but he couldn't even attempt that? Also, I was never a fan of the color scheme of Sarah's original hotel room so I almost threw things at my television when I saw that damn green door again, but it was a neat call back.

    1. I don't think intersects get passed down to kids. And the kid would have pretty awesome genes anyway.

It could be that Sarah is pregnant but somehow I doubt it. I do like the idea, but Yvonne just said in an interview that "I would say it’s a pretty logical step, yeah. I’m sure if we had Season 6 we would go into baby land."

So unless she wanted to mislead (which I guess is possible), there will be no Bartowski babies.

Can't agree more: it's been an excellent episode, and now I am even more confident that they won't s***w up the finale (not for my taste, anyway).

And still there are people complaining about the green screen, and not about a guy that is thrown out of the windows form a train running 200 mph and somehow can come up again, like the villains of those old western movies... LOL

I follow the advice that Magnus gave us at the beginning of the season: enjoy the ride, and be thankful that it will have a proper end (did you people prefer to leave it with an Intersected Morgan????), and think that in a week it will all be over...

  19. HGF ,

I see a lot of people mention them making a movie later for the show . Would WB really want to commit like 5-10 $million for such a thing , seeing as how the ratings have kind of dwindled over the past few years ?

Instead of doing a movie , I'd like to just see a few tv specials . NBC always airs holiday specials and made for tv movies during the holidays . They could order a few " eps " , get the advertising revenue and probably cost WB a lot less to produce . Do you think something like that could happen ?

    1. When Star Trek the original was canceled on NBC from 1966 to 1969, the first movie came out in 1979. Star Trek was the first Sci-Fi cult following and is still strong today as when it first started. With the Chuck fan base growing as it is. Fans writing to WB could create a stir for a movie. Remember the show was on the brink of cancelation 3 or 4 times. As I see it NBC according to Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes is number 4 and going down fast. They might beg for Chuck to come back just so people will watch NBC. I also received a e-mail from a fan to write a letter to the WB to get the music released on CD. Now that's power to the people.

      Delete
    2. It was, however, highly popular with science fiction fans and engineering students, despite generally low Nielsen ratings.

      Delete
    3. WB is not going to make a $5-10 million movie. If they ever make an actual CHUCK movie, it would probably cost more like $20-40 million. And there is no way WB is losing MORE money on this show anytime soon.

Anyone who thinks writing to WB asking for a movie is going to move them one bit is as delusional as those who think the fans "saved" the show for five seasons.

Internet fan passion hasn't turned into the amount of cash that would justify a movie. FIREFLY sold MILLIONS of DVDs before the studio gave that show a movie.

I don't think CHUCK has sold "millions" of DVDs of four whole seasons yet.

      Delete
    4. As for whether this is truly the end for a show that wouldn't die, Levi says he could see a continuation via an online film. Again, it goes back to depending on the fans.
"I genuinely believe that our fan base, if given the opportunity to spend $5 on an hour-and-a-half Chuck movie to buy online and keep, I think they would," he says. "That would be a really fun thing to do."

      Delete
    5. I know what Zac wants to do but he should look at those DVD sales for a frame of reference.

Hell, the show wasn't even pulling 20,000 views online FOR FREE, now suddenly people are going to pay $5 in greater numbers? I don't see it.

Give it time. Get the show into cable syndication and let more people find it. THEN start thinking about delivering something like this.

      Delete
    6. I could see it. People pay 5 dollars for a Subway sandwich. They could chip in. Buy a sandwich pay for a ticket.

      Delete
    7. People don't think like that. They don't equate one spending habit with another. Thinking like that is how you lose money. You have to look at similar distribution pricing schemes that have been successful.

      So far, not many.

      Delete
    8. NBC said Chuck was the most pirated TV show this season. That's why they wanted SOPA.

      Delete
    9. It was... for one week out of 52. All media companies want SOPA because they want to be able to stop anyone, anywhere from sharing their shit. But that's why we have law makers, to stop corporations from raping the Constitution.

Plus, the online footprint of illegal activity for CHUCK wouldn't have made much of a dent in the long run. You are talking about MAYBE 100,000 people. That's a couple of Nielsen households.

      Delete
    10. P.S.

You said "most pirated TV show THIS SEASON" which is total fuckin' bullshit. Like I said, it was for one week... during season 4.

      Delete
  20. I think fans are missing something potentially awesome! When Chuck gives Sarah back her memories he can skip all the memories from 3.01 to 3.13. Sarah will then remember choosing to stay with chuck in 2.22 and then the next thing she remembers is them on a train heading from Paris to Zurich! Happy days!

You guys thought Fedak would not give fans what they wanted, he could potentially give the craziest of nut jobs everything....the loss of the so called misery arc!

    Yee Hee!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Like you said it wasn't perfect, but I also enjoyed it for the most part. At least there is some real tension and something happens.

Have to say that I find Angus/Quinn underwhelming as the final big bad. He just does nothing for me (and I like him in Braveheart, one of my fave films). Dunno but he doesn't have the presence, or maybe is his story that just comes out of nowhere.

Any way, it was a solid effort despite some flaws. Loved Ellie and Awesome being part of it all, and Lester and Jeff were used very well. The opening credits were very cool.

I'm just going to enjoy the finale, hope it makes some sense, but I will continue to lower my expectations to avoid too much disappointment. I think it's going to be ok.

  22. In the pilot when Sarah is talking with Graham on the phone, you get the idea that she already knows who Casey is. Also Casey made a remark about not liking the unpredictable pre-Chuck Sarah in Phase 3. So I wonder if the common history of Sarah and Casey, which dates further back than the Chuck-era, comes into play in the next episode.

  23. You have to remember one thing about Star Trex that was different from Chuck.

Star Trex was on television at a time when their where only three networks which means it got huge ratings and has more fans than Chuck because more people watched it.

The ratings for Star Trex were a disappointment for NBC because of the standards of that period.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sound familiar. “Have you seen the ratings of Chuck?” asks Greenblatt. “Unfortunately that rabid fan base that was going crazy on the net, didn’t come to the show. Maybe it didn’t come to the show because it was Friday, but you think they would find the show. The show is doing a 1 rating. I think Chuck’s time has come. Chuck is over. Let’s alert the masses.” Seven stations then over 200 cable stations now and the internet. What's the difference ? Shit is shit on any station (reality shows, soap operas being canceled). It was and will always be about ratings.

      Delete
    2. Unhappy with the show's ratings, NBC threatened to cancel the show during its second season.[11] The show's fan base, led by Bjo Trimble, conducted an unprecedented letter-writing campaign, petitioning the network to keep the show on the air.[12][13] NBC renewed the show, but moved it from primetime to the "Friday night death slot", and substantially reduced its budget.[14] Roddenberry reduced his direct involvement in Star Trek to protest the changed timeslot and Fred Freiberger became producer of the show's third season. Despite the protests of a renewed letter-writing campaign, NBC canceled the series.

But I guess that’s not going to happen with the latest Yvonne comments about her thinking the next logical step for CS in her mind is a baby. If it happened in the finale she wouldn’t need to make it her mind. Darn the show for getting my hopes up with all the baby talk and Chuck's drawing.

    1. It could be just Yvonne being evasive with that answer, not wanting to give anything away. It seems like there has been too much baby talk this season for it to lead nowhere.

Sarah's possible pregnancy would have to be close to a last minute revelation, I'm not sure how they have the time to fix this amnesia crap with the little time they have left. And I do think they have to fix it if they want the finale be satisfying at all. Taking away all the character development from Sarah doesn't seem like a thing they should do as the show ends.

    1. I'm not sure if the intersect was also erased in Sarah's mind. If not then Chuck and Casey don't stand a chance against her. 1. Feel free to mock ,

When Quinn told Sarah the intersect in her head was " rotten " and he was going to suppress it using those weird looking cards . So technically wouldn't Sarah just have to download a good version of the intersect to reboot ? Like Chuck sort of did in Ring 2 fighting Shaw ?

If Chuck does have to get the intersect in the next few eps , I hope he doesn't have to use the glasses . It would be fucking awesome if they were in a life or death situation and he just gets a sudden rush of adrenaline and flashes somehow and saves the day . That would be sweet .

One last thing , how come there was no mention of Chuck trying to do his best Shaw by yelling Sarahhhh instead of Shaw's NOOOOOOOO from American hero ? That was fucking funny ! lol

    2. "When Quinn told Sarah the intersect in her head was " rotten " and he was going to suppress it using those weird looking cards . So technically wouldn't Sarah just have to download a good version of the intersect to reboot ?"

The writers haven't exactly defined how the intersect works, so they can do pretty much what they want. When Sarah starts getting her memories back (at least I hope it's "when") I think it's probably because of other stimulants, such as the cute picture we saw in the last ep.

Chuck's intersect is suppressed, I don't know if it means it's completely gone or not, that's one thing that hasn't been addressed properly. It might be cool to see him somehow activate it without any help, but I've always thought Chuck using his own wits to save the day is more satisfying.

      Delete
    3. There were a few times this ep where the intersect would have come in handy for chuck . Fighting Quinn ( probably a huge regret now considering ) , that " chicken button " time where Sarah flashed on it ( look on chucks face ) and when he was trying to fix the wifi connection that was all in Japanese , plus probably the most important the lock on the trin car where Sarah was trapped with Quinn .

I don't think Chuck needs it anymore , but there is point when one would feel helpless with ll the people getting " hurt " around him that he can't really do anything about , but if he had the Intersect ? I don't think that would necessarily be quite as a worry .

The show really started with Chuck getting the intersect , why not end it with him re-acquiring it ? Kind of a nice book-end with getting the girl and starting a life together that seemed so out of reach a short ( 5 year plan ) time ago .

  30. Why anybody notice that sarah will hurt chuck badly??
And MamaB poits a gun to sarah why????

    Stop talking about pregnancy!!!

  31. Is Verbanski going to return for the finale? IMDB lists Linda Hamilton for both 5.12 and 5.13 but no mention of Carrie-Anne Moss.

  32. I just want one of those moments that gives you a chill throughout your body . I've gotten 2 from this show

    1) vs the Ring where chuck downloads the intersect 2.0 and knows Kung-fu

    2) vs Push Mix when Volkoff was at his office and the power goes off then he asks " who's doing this ? " then the screen unjumbles and says ORION .

    3) vs ? with Tron poster reveal . That was like HOLY FUCK !!

I hope to et a moment like those in the finale.

  33. It could be just Yvonne being evasive with that answer, not wanting to give anything away. It seems like there has been too much baby talk this season for it to lead nowhere.

I hope so, but I'm keeping my expectations low.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I also think there's been a lot of baby talk because they want to hint that CS will have a baby in future...but yet not do it/show it. I would have liked to have seen it on screen (final moments) but I just doubt it sine I think all the "talks" is Fedak's way of placating the shippers without actually showing a baby. It's a shame though IMO because while I have no issues making a CS baby my head canon, since they knew it was the series finale they had nothing to lose in actually showing CS with a baby or Sarah saying she was pregnant.

  35. HGF...nice write up. i enjoyed some of this episode. some i didn't. quinn falling out of a train going over 100mph hanging on and then crawling under it to get back in is one of them.

just how stupid are they going to make sarah walker? in the hotel room she has the IQ equal to that of a bag of burning hair. the premise is she lost the memories from the last five years after a blow to the head that had her in the hospital for a week. she's a trained spy who wakes up in a place she shouldn't know. no where the fuck am i moment? ok it's the same room she stayed in before. that was also during the time she was with chuck. her not knowing chuck means she shouldn't remember the room either. so a trained spy lets someone in her room she doesn't know because he say he's her handler. a trained spy doesn't ask for some id or show any caution? no what happened to ryker? if she doesn't remember him either then the room is even more a red flag. he was her last handler. now the kicker. going on the head injury caused the amnesia like quinn said i can go with the time before the injury. yet she can't remember a whole week after either? it is possible that she doesn't remember all of it, it can happen after a brain injury but a whole week? then it's like ok i'm ready.

you can forget all that if in addition to the amnesia they have gone the Manchurian candidate route as well, but for now it was lousy.

    1. Why not watch the episodes before deciding Sarah will be an idiot in them?

    2. You know what they say about when you "assume."

I just saw a scene in the NBC EPK that makes anonymous's assumption wrong.

  36. I think these next 2 eps will play out like the BOURNE movies . She'll get little glimpses of memories every so often that were " suppressed " until she realizes what happened .

I am eager to see how they are going to explain how Sarah comes back and with all the clues that there will be that she won't come to her sense in the first 30 seconds of the first episode lol . I figure it's going to be one of those eps where the execution and the writing will be PIVOTAL . You'll either buy it and love it or you won't .

It's got everybody talking which is nice to see . A couple of months ago I could really care less about what was going on . Just watched out of habit . But once santa suit came along I started to get really into the show again . Then after this episode it just hit me that there is only 1 more week left and made me REALLY sad . I started watching old eps again and now I'm getting all depressed just thinking about it while I am typing .

I think I am going to go to the fridge and grab the mint oreo ice cream and drown my sorrows ...

  39. that awkward moment when the first scene of finale is Sarah walks to the buymore to fix her phone..LOL...
because, at 3.13 we knew Sarah fell for chuck after he fixed her phone...
the spoilers told us that Sarah keeps an important secret from Chuck in order to insure the success of a mission..is that a baby issue (that she's pregnant) or maybe all the amnesia thing is just a fake?!
omg cant wait for the finale, but i dont want chuck to be over..:((

    5. lets make my self clear...so maybe,
Sarah has to kill chuck, and she has to pretend she's not amnesia even she totally forgot about him..hmmmm...
its depressing knowing this would be THE END of Chuck...
      WTF!!!

  40. Well, there sometimes comes a time when even this spoiler junkie has been spoiled too much. After watching all of NBC's EPK's, I've reached that point. I know too much.

My advice to others. They are appearing online. Don't watch.

    1. The Sarah-clip is most likely from the opening sequence and the Morgan-Casey one is probably also happens early on in the episode, but out of context it looks like it's somekind of ending scene (which it's most like isn't). But if you connect the dots between these two scenes you'll realize how the beginning of the episode plays out.

    2. I'm not referring to those clips. I could tell that's from early in Episode 512.

I'm referring to the nine actor interviews. Each actors spills a little and by the time you watch them all, there's lots of insight about 513.

    3. As I say many, many, many times... I may be an "insider" and know shit months in advance, but I don't like to watch videos of it because I find it ruins the fun.

I won't be watching those EPKs.

    4. Good. They're depressing and spoil the ending. PEOPLE DON'T WATCH THE SPOILERS. REPEAT DON'T WATCH THE SPOILERS. You are free to go about your daily lives until friday night.

  41. The "behind the scenes" footage reveals a lot about 513 also.

  48. My question is this does Quinn have a bunch of false information on Chuck in the folder he had because I am sure Sarah would want to know about her new target before her mission? Does seem like a dumb question, if so I am sorry I am new to posting on this site.

    1. Well Chuck and co know that there is a " pristine " intersect out there . Inside then file that quinn has probably has some information that says Chuck Bartowski is going to steal the intersect . Which is tbe truth in a way , only Sarah doesn't realize why because her memory got suppressed . I would think that when she returns to chuck she kind of piggy backs onto hi plan than steals it from chuck at the last moment and somehow Quinn gets hs hands on it . Then the finale is stopping whatever Quinn's nefarious plan is

  49. Chuck: Sarah, do you love me? I’m sitting in my underwear, holding a plastic guitar. There’s a very good chance I’m making a complete fool of myself, isn’t there?
    Sarah: Yes.
Chuck: I should probably put some pants on.
    Sarah: No, Chuck. Yes.
    Chuck: Wh… uh, what?
Sarah: Chuck, I fell for you a long, long time ago and before you started defusing bombs with computer viruses. So, yes. Yes.
    […]
Sarah: You’re still Chuck. You’re still my Chuck. Now that's an ending I can live with. :-)
