Despite what you may have heard from your favorite liars on the Internet, the theatrical cut of "The Rise of Skywalker" is the director's cut. If you want a longer cut because you think it will improve the movie, then ask for an "Extended Cut."
Asking for something no one can give you will result in the producers, director, and studio rolling their eyes. People requesting a version that already exists based on some silly "insider" on Reddit who made up a story about the studio "forcing" JJ to "compromise" his vision will guarantee there will be no version of the movie they may like more (which would be an extended cut that doesn't change anything about the plot/story but can flesh out scenes they may feel were rushed).
To sum up:
Director's Cut = Theatrical Cut
Extended Cut = Still a possibility if people stop wasting time and energy on delusions.
