  1. From this website you will see that the following are the people who have written this episode David Benioff, D. B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman, Jane Espenson, George R. R. Martin. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=60112
I loved this episode and I love this podcast. Also that drop the rocks on the head it reminds me of the movie Hot Fuzz when the part at the church part landed on the writers head.
PS from what I heard there is going to be another 2 seasons. Also from what I have been told from my friend that has read 4 out of the 5 that Season 3 is suppose to be more action packed then this season.

    1. Thanks.

I am pretty sure HBO renewed it for a third season. They have not renewed it for a fourth, yet.

  2. I really loved this episode.

My favorite part was the 4 way conversation between Joffrey, Dog, Tyrion and Cersei's servant when the were up top looking down at the battle.

    I thought that was funny.

Two things disappointed me about this season and the episode.

The black pirate is recruited earlier in the season and then hasn't been seen since which was mentioned on podcast.
I thought he should have had one scene in this episode.

The Red Witch who has been absent for several episodes should have made an appearance as well.

I thought Stannis could have obviously used the Smoke Monster in the battle.

For me the interesting thing going foward is that even after the Lannister's won they still have to fight against Robb and probably Dany and her dragons somwhere down the line.

I always thought Joffrey would die because the dragons would eat him.

  3. Another nice job.

Regarding the battle, it's much more complicated and well staged in the books. I think they did as good a job as possible in compressing that into an hour of TV, so I'll just leave it at that. Oh, except for one thing: where's the damned chain?!?

On a totally unrelated note, can anyone spot the connection between this video (no spoilers of any kind) and Game of Thrones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXGZcBlLcGE

  4. The guy who was whining to Stannis was Imry Florent (he's related to Stannis' wife and is an idiot in the books too)
