  1. I'm sorry for stirring up stuff. Who knew my little thought would go over like that.

Thanks for another mention. I know from listening to your other podcasts that you dont mention other listeners that often. So thats why i found it cool when i was.

But getting back to TV. Great to hear that Revolution got a season pick up. Im liking it so far. Mark Pellegrino was awesome, as usual. Dont really care about Go on, oh im sorry "GOON", not interested. And i have yet to check out New Normal, though i want to. And Dexter was good. Intense episode. Like you, im looking forward to Yvonne.

Oh! Btw. If i were to call, would i be charged a lot? Because i live on the west coast. Or can i call with Skype? Id assume i can but just wanted to know how yours worked.

    1. Don't be sorry for stirring anything, we had fun with it. :)

The number is in New Jersey and unless you don't have free long distance (who doesn't these days?), you shouldn't be charged anything. You can use any VOIP service to call it as well if you know how to use it.

It is actually a Google Voice number so you may be able to call via Google Talk or something. I haven't done a lot of research to know for sure.

    2. Okay. Thanks. I'll see what i can do.

And i know you and Vlad like using that stuff. No worries.

Btw. Little Timmy and Mohammad were hilarious. "Mommy, where's fluffy?" :)

    3. Wait a minute. I thought I was the "shit stirrer" :-)

Hey, great podcast. I love you, Vlad. Love that you watch The Voice.

I wish I was warned about those phonecalls. I was listening in a public place on my ipod and nearly got carted away for laughing hysterically.

    4. Yes, MediaSavant is really to blame!

Your punishment was getting arrested in a public place. ;)

    5. Hey Magnus!

This doesn't really have anything to do with this podcast specifically, but I was wondering if you may ever consider covering Supernatural. Whether its a written article or you bring it up on the podcast. Season 8 just premiered and that's why i bring it up. And i know that you're a fan as well. But i don't know if Vlad or Jess watch it. It was just something i thought i would throw out there, you know. Thanks for reading this and if you don't want to or cant cover it, i completely understand.

P.S. This is not meant to stir up anything. :)

    6. I tried covering SUPERNATURAL and no one gave a shit so I stopped.

    7. Did you? Huh, i don't think i remember that.

      Thanks though.

And just so you know. I would give a shit if you did again.

      But that's just me. lol

  2. HGF and VladyGG are funny.

    Death to America!

Little Timmy sounded so innocent for such a filthy boy. Greatness. I have to figure out something to say and call.

    1. Little Timmy seems to have easy access to a phone... and is totally unsupervised.

  3. Finished listening half hour ago but replayed Timmy and Mohamed 20 times. As funy as the Princess Bride bit you did with Babydoll. Do more!

    1. You know... I've always wanted to do more stuff like what Babydoll and I did. But I am the kind of person who has a thousand ideas and they kind of never materialize because I want to do all of it and then can't decide what to do so I don't do anything.

  5. I can agree about season 5 of dexter being not that good but Season 6 garbage you are CRAZY the way they built up season 6 to that big ending of Debra finding Dexter killing Travis Marshall aka Colin Hanks i mean come on. The shocking killings and finding out about the professor and Travis killing his own sister I mean come on what other awesome show would do this? none period.

    1. It was a horrific season (6) and pretty much every single critic agrees.

  6. Homeland and Covert Affairs, love both of 'em. Well you know I'm new to Covert Affairs so I'm now catching up on seasons 1 and 2. So far I've gotten through all of season 1 and the season 2 premiere. Season 1 is definitely a lot more fluffy and episodic/"mission-of-the-week" than season 3, but the eps are still entertaining me nonetheless. HATE Ben Mercer though, UGGH I want to murder him, I'm just waiting and hoping for him to go away and never come back.

But anyway I was gonna say, I have totally thought the same thing about whether the C.A. writers watched Homeland S1 and decided to step up their game and get down to business because of it. The quality in season 3 is just a huge step up from what I just watched in season 1, despite the fact that s1 was still perfectly entertaining. It was just light airy entertainment, that's all. What we're getting in season 3 is waay more mature and has a LOT more weight to it, and thankfully the character development is clearly a focus now especially for Annie.

Anywho as for Homeland, I've watched it since day 1 and love it too. I liked that we got to see Carrie doing fieldwork in the premiere, which we haven't seen much of before except in like flashback clips I think. The VP storyline for Brody is a little nuts, but other than that I thought it was a great episode.

p.s. Thank GOD Dexter seems like it might be somewhat improved this season (fingers crossed), because I'm going to watch it for Yvonne either way, and I'd much rather it be an enjoyable season if I'm forced to watch it. Season 5 was dumb and season 6 was AWFUL, so let's hope they have miraculously gotten their shit together for season 7.

    1. And no mention of us mentioning you?

Makes me think you didn't listen!

    2. WTF hahaha goddamn I keep screwing this up. When did you mention me!? I skipped to the particular parts where you discussed shows that I care about hahaha ... I guess that was my issue. Let me try this again and get back to you. ;-)

      Delete
    3. Well this is embarrassing. You mentioned me specifically to say that I'm the entire reason you never bother mentioning listeners anymore, and then I proved you right by doing the same thing AGAIN this time haahhaa. BUT, at least I got a step further this time and listened to PART of the podcast!! It was just the wrong part(s) ... I suck. :-(

Not only that but I missed a Ben Stern reference too. "Shut UP! Sit DOWN! I told you not to be stupid, ya moron."

"FUCKIN' Mary PLOPPINS." Looks like you really never can trust a plopper.

  7. If i was going to watch Covert Affairs should i start on season 1 or just skip to season 3?

I agree with everything you said on the podcast.

    1. I would at least watch episode 1 of season 1 to see how Annie got where she is and stuff. It does come into play in season 3. And there are story elements that are important BUT you could essentially skip to season 3 and figure stuff out as things go.

    2. Let me add that if you want to experience the whole of the show you should naturally watch every episode.
